These pictures have been taken for pleasure aswell as for my grade 12 photography course
Surrealism
I stated my surrealism process by putting a baby into the bowl part of a wine glass. I decided to make the baby the focal point of the image. He is looking directly into the camera and he is calm. He is being exposed to many dangerous things such as getting poked by a giant finger, an arrow and a killer snake about to eat him. Throughout all of these things he looks calm, that is why I chose to make everything seen through the glass gray colored. It primarily represents how babies do not know the dangers of most things in like when they are that age, it's like they see them in black and white. I always liked the idea of having a baby in the picture, I originally stated off by having the baby sitting on a giant totem pole, however I thought this one looked better and represented something. I did not use any pictures that I took in this project, however I took a few pictures of peoples hands to try to figure out what shape it would make in the photo, however I decided to use one I found online. At first, it just looks like a bunch of images tied together using photo-shop, but when people really look at it they should be able to see what it represents. The same goes for when I look at this image as well.
