Appropriation: I used recycled images from fitness magazines and university brochures to create this collage.
Interaction of Text and Image: I used images that should not usually be put together (university students and fitness magazine pictures). The text and pictures go together to represent what happens to university students when they go to university (gain weight, freshman 15).
This collage has a humour factor because it shows us one of the truths about university that most people dislike. I think these images and words usually don’t go together but in the sense of this topic it fits.
